1. International Trade Terms (Incoterms):
All international shipments of our handicraft products are executed strictly under the FOB JNPT (Jawalarlal Nehru Port Trust, Nhava Sheva, Mumbai, India) term.
2. Order Processing & Delivery Time (Lead Time):
Since our handicraft products are 100% handmade, the production lead time depends entirely on the order volume and design complexity. The standard dispatch time is 30 to 45 days from the date of receiving the 30% advance payment and the verification of the 7-day Letter of Credit (L/C). Within this period, the cargo will be delivered and loaded at FOB JNPT, Mumbai. The international ocean transit time (the time taken by the ship to reach your country) will vary based on the shipping line and destination port.
3. Port of Loading & Logistics:
- Loading Port: Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT / Nhava Sheva), Mumbai, India.
- Our Shipping Obligation: We handle secure export packaging, domestic transport to JNPT, and complete all Indian Export Customs Clearance. Our responsibility concludes once the goods are successfully loaded “On Board” the designated vessel.
- Export Documentation: We will provide the buyer with the following standard export documents required for customs clearance and bank payment processing:
1. Commercial Invoice
2. Packing List
3. Bill of Lading (B/L)
4. Certificate of Origin (CoO)
5. Phytosanitary Certificate (If required)
4. Freight, Insurance & Destination Charges:
- Freight & Carrier: The choice of shipping line, booking of the container, and ocean freight costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- Insurance: As per FOB terms, marine transit insurance must be arranged and paid for by the buyer to cover any risks during sea transit.
- Import Charges: All import duties, customs clearance charges, and local port taxes at the destination country are to be borne by the buyer.
5. Transit Delays:
While we guarantee timely delivery of the cargo to JNPT port as per schedule, KARAGIR KI KARAGIRI is not liable for shipping line delays, customs inspections at the destination port, or delays caused by natural disasters (Force Majeure).
