Karagir Ki Karagiri

1. Cancellation Before Production:

Buyers can request an order cancellation within 24 to 48 hours of placing the order, provided that the 30% advance payment has not been processed and production planning has not started. Once the 30% advance payment is received and the 7-day Letter of Credit (L/C) is verified, the order is officially confirmed and cannot be cancelled.

2. Cancellation After Production Begins:

No cancellations, modifications, or reductions in order volume will be accepted once production has commenced or raw materials have been specifically sourced. If a buyer insists on cancelling an order after production has started, the 30% advance payment will be entirely forfeited to cover the cost of materials and artisan labor.

3. Cancellation of Custom / Bespoke Orders:

For customized or tailor-made handicraft items (specific designs, dimensions, or branding requested by the buyer), no cancellations are allowed under any circumstances after order confirmation.

4. Failure to Open L/C within 7 Days:

As per our Payment Terms, the buyer must open an Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight within 7 days of order confirmation. If the buyer fails to open the L/C within this 7-day window, KARAGIR KI KARAGIRI reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order, halt production, and withhold any advance payment as administrative and liquidation damages.

5. Cancellation After Shipment (FOB JNPT):

Once the goods are loaded “On Board” the vessel at JNPT (Mumbai, India), the order cannot be cancelled, recalled, or diverted. The buyer is legally obligated to honor the L/C and complete the transaction.

6. Damages & Claims:

Since international return shipping for fragile handicrafts is cost-prohibitive, we do not accept returns or exchanges. In the rare event of transit damage, any claims must be raised by the buyer with their marine insurance provider, as our liability ends once the goods cross the ship’s rail at FOB JNPT.
